The Ascendia team celebrated this milestone with an anniversary event held at the BVB headquarters.
A decade ago, on July 7, 2016, Ascendia listed on the AeRO market, becoming the first company in the EdTech (educational technology) sector to go public on the capital market. In the 10 years since its listing, investors have executed over 25,000 transactions involving more than 6.2 million Ascendia shares, valued at nearly RON 38 million. Ascendia's market capitalization has increased more than 11-fold from its listing to date, reaching a value of over RON 146 million. During the same period, the company distributed cumulative gross dividends totaling RON 9.03 million to its shareholders.
In 2022, Ascendia shares were included in the BET AERO index, which reflects the performance of representative companies on the BVB's AeRO market. The company maintains its presence in the index structure today, with a weight of nearly 3.6%. With cumulative transactions of RON 8.32 million since the beginning of the year, Ascendia recorded the second-highest liquidity among the IT companies included in the BET AERO index. The BET AERO index shows a growth of nearly 21% over the past year.

Furthermore, over time, Ascendia has chosen to leverage capital market mechanisms for financing by listing two bond issues on the BVB's Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF). These include the bonds trading under the ticker symbol ASC27, valued at RON 4.5 million with a maturity date in 2027, and the ASC22 bonds, valued at RON 3 million, which have already reached maturity.
