Instructional Designer
Ascendia delivered a practical Instructional Design program for professionals at Transilvania Bank, with the goal of strengthening internal capabilities for designing digital and blended courses, aligned with business needs and easily applicable to current projects.

Investing in People through Instructional Design at Transilvania Bank – Ascendia Training Program

Ascendia had the privilege of collaborating with Transilvania Bank to deliver an Instructional Design training program that transformed the way Learning & Development teams design and implement internal courses. This program was specifically created to meet the need to standardize instructional design processes and accelerate the development of digital and blended educational materials, all clearly aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Participants learned to thoroughly analyze organizational needs, define clear and measurable learning objectives, and build storyboards and prototypes that support efficient training.

Transilvania Bank – Ascendia eLearning Collaboration

"The Instructional Designer course from Ascendia covers all the essential aspects an Instructional Designer must possess, as it truly takes you from the very beginning to the post-delivery evaluation of the product, tracking its impact. Keep Up The Good Work, it was a truly great course and I really enjoyed being in your company. You are wonderful people and keep smiling." – Andrei-Costin Mureșan

The project started from the challenge of excessive variation and inconsistency in the quality of courses delivered within the organization, as well as the need to reduce the time from idea to launch in order to quickly respond to changes in the business environment. Ascendia offered a pragmatic solution, based on recognized Instructional Design methodologies, complemented by templates and practical tools that support the creative and validation process of courses. Additionally, ongoing mentoring during the project facilitated the adoption of the process within internal teams, ensuring sustainability and real skills transfer.

The results of this partnership were evident very quickly. L&D teams and content experts began to produce much more consistent materials in terms of structure and clarity of learning objectives. This led to a much more streamlined and results-oriented learning experience for Transilvania Bank employees. Moreover, the standardized process and template library significantly reduced the time needed to develop and launch new courses, increasing the organization’s agility in training initiatives. Participant feedback was extremely positive, appreciating the practical utility of the new knowledge and the confidence gained in creating training programs from scratch.

Ascendia is recognized for its expertise in delivering e-learning and Instructional Design training projects, adopting a collaborative approach with a focus on tangible results and reusable deliverables. Through this project, it has been demonstrated that a well-structured methodology, supported by ongoing guidance and specific tools, can have a real impact on organizational performance and human capital development.

The implemented methodology consists of a well-defined series of steps, beginning with a detailed analysis of needs and stakeholders, followed by the definition of measurable educational objectives and the creation of clear content architecture. The next phases involved developing storyboards and rapid prototypes, ensuring quality throughout the development process and, finally, ongoing evaluation and optimization based on user feedback. All these stages are supported by modern technologies, enabling the delivery of digital courses and micro-learning integrated with the client's LMS platforms.

The business impact is significant: the onboarding process has become more coherent, and employees benefit from hands-on learning tailored to the specific needs of their roles. The alignment between Learning & Development departments and operational objectives is strengthened, and the roll-out of training programs is faster, with close monitoring of progress and performance indicators.

This Instructional Design program is a clear example of how investment in personalized and applied training can support digital transformation and streamline learning processes in large and complex organizations such as Transilvania Bank. If your organization is looking to implement similar programs, Ascendia offers the experience, methodology, and tailored support to maximize the impact of your training and accelerate the development of internal capabilities.
