There are only a few entrepreneurs in Romania about whom we can truly say they have changed the face of the country. Many have made a profit, gained numerous clients, and hired hundreds or even thousands of people. But when it comes to Alex Mălureanu, co-founder of Ascendia, we can confidently say that he has contributed to real changes in education.

Born into a family of teachers, Alex and his brother, Cosmin, have helped 130,000 teachers in Romania and the Republic of Moldova digitalize their processes through LIVRESQ, a digital editor for textbooks and educational components for companies. Ascendia is a publicly listed company that has been continuously growing, and 2025 is set to be their best year yet.

Their product is used by both companies that want to create digital lessons to train new employees, for example, and teachers who seek to teach differently.
