The Faculty of Public Administration of the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA) and Smart-EDU Hub, together with Ascendia, are organising the Smart2Education Hackathon in Bucharest from 7 to 9 June 2023. The Hackathon is dedicated to students who want to participate with innovative solutions for education.
For 24 hours, teams of three learners will develop a smart way to deliver online courses based on Ascendia's e-learning course editor, LIVRESQ, and ChatGPT artificial intelligence solutions. The new courses should address challenges identified by participants and enhance the learning experience. Each team participating in the hackathon will present their proposals to the jury and the winners will be awarded prizes.
The prizes on offer are as follows:
First prize: €1,500
Second prize: €750
Third prize: €450
Before the Hackathon starts, a team of LIVRESQ lecturers will teach students how to use the editor's tools to develop course materials in a creative and interactive way. LIVRESQ will be at the heart of this Hackathon, and participating students will learn how to use the editor to discover new ways to make the most of its potential.
The challenge of the Smart2Education Hackathon is to develop innovative and interactive educational tools for digital course delivery. It also aims to identify new solutions to spark students' curiosity, guide them through the learning process and develop an AI solution to improve information retention.
Registration for the Hackathon is open until 21 May 2023, subject to availability.
