Digital Reality of 2026: Challenges and Solutions
The event held at the Radisson Blu Hotel brought to the forefront this year's critical theme: "Exposure of young people to digital risks and dangerous behaviors on the Internet".
The data presented at the conference by Save the Children specialists raised a necessary alarm. The discussions focused on the need for stronger legislative mechanisms for the protection of minors online, including the debate on access to social networks for children under 13. Recent statistics on cyberbullying and digital addiction confirm that digital education is an urgent need among young people and must be treated as a priority.
At Ascendia, we strongly believe that these challenges can be solved with education through technology. Digital tools must remain a catalyst for knowledge, not a source of risk.
Excellence Award: Ora de Net Contest: Internet Safety 2026
The central moment of the day was the Awards Gala of the national Ora de Net contest, where we had the honor of being on stage with the winners.
Ascendia offered complete educational kits to both the students who won awards for their creative projects and the coordinating teachers. We chose to reward teachers as well because, in our vision, the teacher remains the pivot of digital transformation. They are the ones who guide students to discern between useful information and digital “noise”, between opportunity and danger.
