Alex Mălureanu attended the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (Banks and Stock Exchanges). Passionate about capital markets, digital education, but also eager to create a real positive impact in society, Ascendia was a natural step forward for him.
Currently, he serves as Marketing Director at the Issuer, where he is in charge of designing and overseeing the marketing and communication strategy, developing new eLearning and mLearning products, and overseeing the development of the company's websites and portals.
Mr. Malureanu's experience as Sole Director of the company dates back to the company's inception in 2007. Until that moment, Cosmin has built his professional career through his studies at ASE, where he graduated with a degree in Economic Engineering. Later he won the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010" Europe award. In 2014 he won the "E-Skills for Jobs 2014 - Digital Entrepreneurship" award - offered by the European Commission at EU level for the results achieved with the company, and in 2017 he received the "Leave a Mark" award from the Romanian Business Leaders Foundation.
